Enlargement of the chicken pen with a section for wet weather times …
Due to the 2020 Pandemie I was meant to live for a few weeks with my family. I arrived in early spring and as usually for my father it did not lack work in house and garden which could be realized.
I decided to pick for both, mother and father, one project that I will solve during my times with them. For my mothers happiness I choose to paint together with my sister the kitchen and entrance hall. For my father I picked a way more complicated and time-consuming project, an enclosure attached to the old chicken pen. Luckily my brother and also my father helped some of the days and there it is! I am happy that we managed to keep the plum tree to give it at least a chance to survive and grow again strong in the new system it lives for now on. In a way it is even a creative combination of human creation and nature with a special flair.
Sure, the basic plan was determined by my father as I had no practise in the kind of constructions which was also the reason to choose it and learn it. The new home bred chickens are already fully activ in there new home and the plum tree took his fate very well.
