Bracelets and Anklets …
The craft of Macramé lets you create several beautiful things. For now I am into bracelets/anklets. The wonderful thing is you do not need much to start. Just some cords in the color and material you like, a pair of scissors or something else to cut. If you use natural based materials a bit clue for the cuttings or for synthetics a lighter to melt the ends. The lighter is also usfull to scorch fibres of natural materials in the finishing process.
Those tools are enough to do basic ones in different styles. Furthermore it is possible to include other design elements (pearls, shells …).
If you are interested in Macramé or you have open questions feel free to contact me or use the social medias which offers plenty of informations …

Why Macramé …
On my travels I occasional used hitchhiking. In all the cases it was a positive, warm experience with all kind of people in every country. Often I thought it would be a beautiful thing to give something back in memory to that positive aspect how people help each others.
The problem is the longer you travel the less things you carry. Several times I had the sudden inspiration that a little bracelet would be something which solves that situation
An individual handmade gift as a thanks to the social actions or to friends and people you meet on your way …
