Creative footprint at my home …
Finally it happened. A small mural at my home country in the garden of my parents.
The idea was already existent in the last year when I embellished a resting area at my families garden. It took me still a few month until I started it. The cold seasons, I could skip the three last years, is just not the perfect weather for some wall paintings!
Now, two weeks ago I came back home and as the spring opened it wings up, I brought the idea to reality.
This time it’s quite a small and basic painting made just with white facade paint.
The Mandala …
The Mandala I created straight at the wall, structure by structure. To have an orientation I only sketched a few circles beforehand.
Funny for me was that at the beginning I was quite slow by trying to keep the lines fine and well curved. I started thinking ‘Well that gonna take me a while by repeating every single structure five times!’.
Luckily, even here you experience how your motoric abilities become better and better. So at the end the lines appeared quite fast.
I love to be astonished by the learning process of our given system which is not in our hand to control but to lead.
Personal …
Also at your home you can have special experiences by doing some art. Still having the memory of my last mural ‘Lila’ in Australia, for which I painted often during nights as the days were just a bit too hot, I was painting this time during all kind of weather conditions.
Starting with a summer breeze, I ended up with some snow and cold fingers for the finishing, and that just in a week of painting.
I liked the process of the Mandala painting and how it turned out. Even if any painting can offer this free state of creation, a Mandala makes it kinda obvious to let it emerge from it formless source.
What makes me also happy is to reach an fast embellishment with so little resources. It might be not my last Mandala and if you are also interested in one, than give me a wink or tell me your experiences with Mandalas at the comments below.
