Favorit childbooks of a friend …
In June 2018 I arrived in Taiwan. A beautiful country to explore! After a five weeks hiking periode from north to south along the west side I hitchhiked back towards north along the east side. In Hualien I stopped two weeks at a hostel for a work-for-accomondation. During that funny time I became friend with David a guy from Taipei.
He invited me to his home for a week where I used the time to embellish his room. He chose a combination of two favorit child books ‘The little prince’ and ‘The alchemist’.
Thanks for the time in Taipei, the little daytrips and the opportunity my friend!

More precise details and preparation in this project. David had no art products so we drove trough Taipei to find all to our demands. The composition we dicused together before and druing the process. My model in the case of ‘The little prince’ was a plate of David. I remember the hot and sweaty painting sessions in his little room and the sudden night walks through the capital. It was a wonderful time and I recommend Taiwan as a country and ‘The little prince’ as a story!
